How automatic backup works
Sales and other changes save locally first. With automatic backup enabled, saved changes are checked about once a minute and encrypted updates are uploaded in the background. If the server is unavailable, local work continues and backup retries automatically.
Closing, reloading or locking this tab pauses uploads; sign in and enable them again to catch up. Browser background throttling can delay checks.
Products and pictures, completed sales, accounting records and supported business settings transfer. Active baskets, held sales, till sessions, device connections and manager PINs do not. This is backup and restore, not live multi-till sync. Restored copies cannot overwrite the original backup.
Keep this backup tab open and unlocked while using POS in another tab. Maximum encrypted backup: 16 MiB.
1. Sign in to your cloud account
Your local login is not automatically a cloud account. First activation needs a private invitation issued for your email by the hosting administrator. Use a strong cloud password; losing it means these encrypted backups cannot be decrypted.

To import without replacing this business, create a separate cloud-import profile.
Review before importing
No cloud password or access token is saved in browser storage. Reconnect your printer and configure manager PINs after importing. Keep a separate downloaded backup too.
