Existing non-blank information is never silently replaced. Conflicts stay listed for your decision. Historical sales create no accounting entries and are shown at zero gross profit until real costs are supplied. Purchase rows import as unposted drafts with zero accounting entries; after the import, review and post only current or unpaid supplier invoices that belong in your books.
