INTELLIVISION SHARED TILLS← My Business
Shop network · no internet needed

Run several tills from one business

One till becomes the host: its business data is the only copy that changes. Other tills, tablets and computers on the same Wi-Fi or cable network pair to it, sell through it and keep a read-only copy for fast lookups. Being on the Wi-Fi never grants access: every device needs a pairing code from the owner, and every staff member signs in with their own login, checked by the host. Hosted cloud services are not involved.

1 · Make this till the host

Install or check the Windows Shop Bridge →

Shared tills now require Shop Bridge 1.3.0 on the host PC. Finish any receipt printing, close the older bridge, install the update using the link above, then reopen IVB on all tills and sign in again.

Run on the owner's main till with the IntelliVision Shop Bridge started (the same bridge used for printers). Enter the 6-digit code from the bridge window once; it is kept by the bridge, never in this browser.

Owner sign-in and a running Shop Bridge are required.

2 · Create a pairing code

On the host till. Each code works once and expires after ten minutes. Choose the branch and what the device is for.

Host mode is required.

3 · Pair this device to the host

Open this page in a new, empty business profile on the device you are adding (Business profiles → add profile). Type the host address shown on the host till and the pairing code. The existing business on this device is never replaced. On a Windows computer opened from ivb.app, the Shop Bridge must also run here and you enter its code once.

Not paired.
Host till must be openPaired devices can only record sales while IntelliVision is open on the host till and its Shop Bridge is running. When it is not, they show "Host till not open" and refuse changes instead of guessing.
No copies that disagreeOnly the host's data changes. Devices keep a read copy that refreshes every few seconds. If a device cannot reach the host, it says so; it never records a sale on its own.
Still being provenThis is new. Two-till trading with the internet unplugged, printer routing per till and host restarts are being tested before it is called ready. Keep taking backups.
