Version, signing & checksum
Checking the published version. A download is offered only when release metadata identifies Camera Bridge 1.2.
Add a camera, DVR or NVR in the Windows bridge
- Run Camera Bridge 1.2 on a Windows PC connected to the equipment network.
- Choose discovery or add a device. Check the actual model and enabled LAN protocols. Own-brand XMEye/iCSee devices, Hikvision, Dahua and Jovision require the appropriate supported local interface. Cloud/P2P-only devices need a vendor connector; a brand name or guessed RTSP template does not prove compatibility.
- For a recorder, discover/select each channel and confirm a decoded picture. Unsupported or offline channels stay visibly unavailable. Recording search, playback and PTZ depend on capabilities the device confirms.
- Copy the workspace details below into Pair workspace on the bridge. Choose the permitted channels and whether to allow control, then paste its generated token here.
Same PC: HTTP loopback is supported. Another PC: use the bridge’s HTTPS LAN address and verify its certificate fingerprint. Do not disable browser security or send tokens over LAN HTTP. The token stays in this tab’s memory and is forgotten when you leave or change login/workspace.
2. Camera channels
Live preview · up to 4 fps · video only. Quality depends on the bridge and network. Stale frames are reported.
Move camera
Each movement is limited to a short pulse. Control requires both your role and the bridge grant.3. Recorder history
Select a channel to check recording search and replay.
A playback session is limited to ten minutes. The live-view area above shows advancing playback frames and the requested interval. Nothing is called available until the recorder responds.
This device’s camera
Optional webcam/phone-camera motion monitoring. This is separate from network cameras and does not identify people or objects.
