Is everything on the platform page free?
No. The platform page describes the broader product. Solo covers the essentials and never expires. Paid plans add staff, store operations, accounting and branches. Hardware and installation are separate.
Can I try a paid plan first?
Yes. Sign in as the business owner and open Billing & Plan to start one 5-day Medium trial. No card is required and it never creates an automatic charge. After the trial, new growth actions return to Solo limits; existing products and records, selling, manual backups and exports remain available.

The limit is 50 active product records, not 50 units of stock. Existing products still sell at the limit. Mini allows 5,000 active products. Existing catalogues are preserved when plan limits change.
Can I activate a paid plan now?
Yes. Compare Mini, Medium and Large, then sign in as the business owner to subscribe through PayFast. Access activates after the payment is verified. Paid plans start at R99/month, including VAT. Hardware and payment processing are separate.
Can I use my existing equipment?
Possibly, depending on the model, connection and supported integration. Check the hardware information and validate the actual equipment before relying on it.
