How are you getting started?

Start with a new catalogue, or tell us about the system you are moving from. Your choice helps plan setup; it does not import, replace or delete any business data.

Choose a starting point when you are ready. Unfinished choices can be saved as a draft.

โœ… Setup saved! Your details now drive every module, till and dashboard on this device.
Opening your till now. You can return to My Business for the owner dashboard at any time.

Step 1: Business profile & tax setup

Choose what fits your business today. You can update these details later.
BUSINESS DETAILS
The name customers see on invoices and receipts. Sole proprietors can use their own name or a trading name. Include any legally required names in this business name.
For your internal business profile. This field is not printed on customer receipts or invoices.
VAT / GST registration
Choose your current registration status. If unsure, choose Confirm later; tax charging stays off in IVB until you confirm it. You can edit this later. IVB does not verify registration with a tax authority.
Who runs the business?
Choose your current needs. You can change this anytime and add staff or branches later. After saving, use Team & Logins to manage staff.
Do customers buy on account?
Choose Yes if you let customers pay later. This changes which account tools are shown; it does not create debt or change existing balances. You can update it anytime.
Current branch / location
Main branch
This names the current location only. Choosing Multiple branches lets you edit its name; it does not create extra branches. Existing custom names are kept.

Tax setup status

Tax is not configured in IVB. Confirm your registration before issuing tax invoices. These app settings do not connect to a tax authority or submit invoices or returns.

Step 2: Choose your business type *

Choose the closest fit. These examples are a guide; you can change your selection later.

Step 3: Location, tax & industry options

Add an optional branch address and map pin, review country and tax settings, then choose the tools and options this business needs. This does not connect IVB to a government filing service.

Tools to set up and use first

Choose optional shortcuts for the sector you selected in Step 2. They will appear in My Business after you complete setup. Selecting a tool does not configure it, connect equipment, or change plan and staff access.

Choose your sector in Step 2 to see relevant tools.

Optional South Africa barcode suggestions

Off by default. Turn it on only where you want an unknown barcode to suggest product details from IntelliVision's bundled offline register. Products already in your own stock list always scan normally.
OWNER / MANAGER
Nothing is enabled. The register never supplies or assumes selling price, purchase cost or tax treatment.

Till and stock options

Start small and switch on only what this store uses. These controls can be changed later without rebuilding the business.
OPTIONAL
